Here’s the nutritional lowdown. Not only is ginger full of antioxidants and clinically proven to help aid digestion, but recent research suggests it can also help lower the risk of chronic diseases, such as heart disease and high blood pressure. - ½ inch piece of root ginger
- ½ lime
- ½ apple
- Handful of spinach
- Teaspoon of spirulina
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- Peel the ginger and the lime.
- Place all the ingredients in a juicer (ideally a cold-press one) and blitz until combined.
- This will make 80-100ml. Pour into two shot glasses and chug.
