At this point, the naked trend is nothing new. Our fave celebs have been sporting the look in varying forms, from see-through dresses a lá Doja Cat and Kylie Jenner, optical illusion graphic styles worn by Paris Jackson, and full cut-out naked designs as seen on Megan Fox and Megan Thee Stallion.
Miley Cyrus has given her own take on the trend, notably rocking a selection of bodysuits over the past few weeks. It all started with the reveal of Miley's Endless Summer Vacation album cover art which saw the singer hanging from a trapeze bar wearing a black halterneck bodysuit with a hip cut-out. We've seen no end of bodysuit lewks since and we aren't mad about it.
Yep, Miley's in her bodysuit era. She even stuck to her unofficial uniform in editorial snaps shared yesterday on Instagram to accompany the announcement she's British Vogue's June 2023 cover star.
The first image is a full-length, black and white photo of Miley mid-dance move. She's wearing an Alaïa bodysuit with *huge* cut-outs on either side of her torso with smaller cut-outs all along the edge. A floor-length mesh coat and matching mesh ankle boots (both also Alaïa) make this a full head-to-toe cut-out 'fit. Try saying that three times fast...
Irina Shayk was one of the first to leave a comment, writing simply "Love 🔥🔥🔥🔥". We couldn't agree more with the supermodel. And that's just one of many pics.
A second shot sees Miley in another bodysuit, this one by Saint Laurent and featuring cross-neck halter straps and veryyy high-cut legs. Standing with her hands on her hips and her legs apart in a slight bend, she looks so toned. We also need to shout out her curly hair, the extra volume is giving wild lion's mane vibes which add to her power pose.
While that's the extent of the bodysuits from the shoot, the other looks are just as nakey and include a red bandeau bra and knickers set by Ferragamo worn with black elbow-length mesh gloves, and a custom Prada green satin bra top with black ribbon detail and a matching miniskirt with side slit.
We'll say it, the photos are something else. Now Alexa, play 'Flowers' by Miley Cyrus on repeat.
