This 20-minute strength sesh from trainer Kristina Earnest, first seen on Women's Health's Instagram Live schedule, does just that. Plus, if you're a beginner (or just have sensitive knees!), she provides low-impact options throughout.

Here's everything you need to know:

Time: 20 minutes

Equipment: Dumbbells (1 or 2 sets)

Good for: Total-body

Instructions: You'll ease into this sweat session with a warmup, and then crank up the intensity with three circuits each featuring three exercises completed two times through. Each circuit will be descending in weight. For the first move, you'll use two dumbbells. During the second, you'll use one dumbbell. The last will be a bodyweight plyometric movement.
