Try This Easy Turmeric Bagel Holes Recipe For Your Next At-Home Breakfast

Ingredients
- 1 c.
whole-milk cottage cheese
- 1 c.
self-rising flour, plus more for dusting
- 1/2 tsp.
ground turmeric
- 2 tsp.
white sesame seeds
- 2 tsp.
black sesame seeds
- 1
large egg, beaten
Directions
- Step 1Heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2In a food processor, blend cottage cheese until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl and mix in flour and turmeric until a dough starts to form. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, 2 to 3 min., sprinkling in more flour as necessary if the dough is sticky.
- Step 3Roll the dough into 11/4-inch balls and space 2 inches apart on the prepared sheet. In a small bowl, combine white and black sesame seeds. Brush tops of bagel holes with egg, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Step 4Bake until golden brown, rotating pan halfway through, about 30 min.
