Chrishell Stause finds just as much comfort in taking care of her skin as the rest of us do. Between selling luxury homes to the likes of Marvel actors like Simu Liu and NBA athlete Thomas Bryant, the Selling Sunset star still carves out time in her busy schedule to make sure her skin is flourishing behind the scenes. In fact, skin-care plays a vital role in her self-care routine.
Since becoming a fan favorite on the Netflix reality series, Chrishell has been open about the products she includes in her anti-aging-focused skin-care routine. She's a big fan of Dermalogica's products, thanks to a few recommendations from her sister, a spa owner, and she's previously mentioned that, on her days off, she likes to relax by steaming her face or wearing sheet masks.
Read ahead for a few things the star has revealed about her skin-care routine.

She likes to keep things simple
Relaxing as multi-step skin-care routines may be, they’re not for everyone, as some people — Chrishell included — prefer to keep things simple. Back in 2020, the Netflix star took to Instagram to share a Dermalogica-sponsored video outlining her skin-care routine. Throughout the four-minute video, she demonstrates how she uses four of the five products in her everyday routine: the Multi-active Toner, the Retinol Clearing Oil, the Phyto-nature Firming Serum, which reduces signs of aging, and the Super Rich Repair Moisturizer.
She’s a big fan of exfoliating
Having a skincare-loving sibling has worked out pretty well for the reality star. Chrishell mentioned in an interview with The Cut that her sister, who's an aesthetician, introduced her to one of her favorite cleansers, the Dermalogica Skin Resurfacing Lactic Acid Cleanser, which she often uses to exfoliate.
“I remember going to my sister and asking her, ‘What do I do? I have these weird little bumps under my skin,’ and this is what she recommended,” she said. “This is the kind of product that you don’t just start using, though. I’ve been using it for so long that I can use it twice a day, but I built up to it. I only used it once a day in the beginning, and there are times where I’ll skip it in the morning and grab something like micellar water instead.”
Face steaming plays a big role in her self-care routine
Being a part-time reality star and luxury real estate agent sounds like a pretty hectic gig, so with everything that’s on her plate, it’s no wonder she makes an effort to prioritize taking care of herself in her free time. Her self-care routine varies depending on her mood, but she does like to pull out her face steamer — which can help hydrate and soothe the skin — when she’s feeling fancy.
“Is it a book and facial steamer kind of night, or a Netflix and Postmates night,” she told Nylon. “I really love being at home by myself, and I’ll write, read, or watch TV, and order Postmates. Sometimes I would take a bath, put a mask on my hair and let it sit. I love doing stuff like that.”
Even she can’t resist a Korean sheet mask
When asked about one of the most recent additions to her skincare routine, Chrishell pointed out a set of sheet masks that feature ginseng, an ingredient that can brighten your complexion and protect the skin from free radicals.
“I really loved it, and I let it sit, and it is just very indulgent,” she said. “It’s easy to travel with them, and just throw them in my bag.”
She has an appreciation for wearing less makeup
If many of us have learned anything about ourselves while social distancing these last two years, it’s that wearing less makeup is so much more convenient. Even Chrishell agrees.
“I was always doing lashes and glam constantly, and I will say that getting ready now, I do it a little differently,” she told Nylon. “I’ve gotten used to the look of my eyes without eyeliner. It definitely came from being stuck in the house over the last year, and I just got used to seeing myself without all that makeup. I liked doing less sometimes.”
